Have you had a problem with a solicitor?

A rogue tradesman such as a plmber or builder can wreck your house - but you will get over it. If a rogue solicitor or accountant deals with your affairs, it can wreck the rest of your life.

Society seems to live in awe of anyone who is a,"professional". Without question we accept that we will be landed with a heavy bill. How can you check it?

Go to a garage and have your car fixed and it still misfires you know the job has not been done right. The work of solictors, accountant and finacial advisers can lurk away in the background of your life finally the taxman comes calling, or you die, or you try to sell a property and suddenly you or your family suddenly find out that you have been ripped off.

The professional bodies are often worse than useless. Go onto the site www.icaew.co.uk and there you will see just how many accountants have been fined for not having professional indemnity insurance.

The is insurance is there to protect the client if the accountant of solicitor screws up. if it is not in place - tough you have no protection. Why do these professional bodies simply fibne these people rather than expelling them? Without this basic cover the client has no protection.

If a professional cannot be trusted to maintin their insurance cover, can they be trusted to deal honestly with the affairs of the client.

Check out bent, dishonest, incompetent or just uninsured accountants and solicitors at www.wevet.com

If you have been the victim of a white collar rogue trader let us know.
